Castro Elementary students and staff gathered to remember and celebrate all branches of the armed forced on Veterans Day. The festivities included members of the choir performing, poems for each branch of the armed forces presented by students followed by the 21 gun salute. Veterans who were in attendance were treated to breakfast and given a certificate of recognition and appreciation.
