Our Mission CISD Administration has been closely monitoring the weather.
📢 Tuesday – January 16, 2024
Considering the upcoming severe cold temperatures, increased chances of precipitation, and in an abundance of caution, all Mission CISD school classes will be cancelled and Mission CISD facilities will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Students and staff will not need to make up the day. For staff – the day will be counted as a Wellness Day.
🚨 Extracurricular Activities
For extracurricular activities including sports and fine arts programs for Jan. 16, 2024, Mission CISD students should reach out to their respective coaches and directors for additional guidance.
🗓️ Wednesday – January 17, 2024
At this time, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Mission CISD transportation will run as usual. School classes will begin at the standard hour, with the added flexibility to drop off students at or before 9:30 a.m.
🔔 Should there be any updates or changes, parents and staff will be notified through our mass notification system, website, and social media outlets.
