Mission City Councilman Ruben Plata accepted the invitation to join Castro Elementary on November 18 and be "Principal for A Day." Mr. Plata got an inside look as to the demands and responsibilities that go into being an educational leader. Mr. Plata also currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Senior Lender at Texas National Bank in McAllen. Castro Elementary sincerely thanks Mr. Plata for taking the time out of his schedule to be a part of the Mission CISD program.
